Artist Biographies

"Secondson is a multi instrumentalist, gold awarded producer and composer with over 35 years of service to his name. From producing for major label projects and fledgling artists in tandem and with equal commitment, Secondson has always been driven by new sounds and recording techniques.

Specialising more recently in sonic practices and exploring new instruments such as the halldorophone and magnetic resonator piano. Secondson also works primarily with vintage analogue sources such as the Mellotron, Orchestron, synthesis, tape and of course, his custom built electro acoustic Cristal Baschet Basse from Structures Sonores Baschet themselves in Paris.

From starting with his first drum kit at 13, to using instruments of immense rarity, Secondson is in his element when he has the complete freedom to explore in his expansive studios in the historic Cardiff docklands.

Of Cuban Welsh descent, Secondson was born, lives and will eventually die in Wales."-Aural Terrains
