• Show Bio for Kyle Jessen "Kyle Jessen is a free improvising saxophonist from Omaha, NE. Legendary underground music writer, Byron Coley, has likened Jessen's work to that of Anthony Braxton and Roscoe Mitchell, while also having the edge of the more aggressive European free improv sound. In 2021 and 2022, Jessen released several short solo efforts on small labels such as Gertrude Tapes, Moonworshipper Records, and Soundholes.
