Recorded in 2025 between The Womb in Los Angeles and MDP Studios in Massachusetts, Misprision continues the remote, cross-coastal collaboration of Unsub, pairing FETUSK's guitar, drones, keys, bass, beats and screams with Steven Davis's synthesizer work. Issued by Love Earth Music, the album moves through six pieces of abrasive electronic construction, fusing guitar-based noise, submerged rhythm, industrial weight and slow-form drone into a dense, unstable sound world.

Where earlier Unsub recordings have explored the meeting point between processed guitar, synth atmosphere and dark ambient suspension, Misprision pushes that language toward a more volatile and physically confrontational edge. FETUSK's screams and beats give the music a damaged human presence, while Davis's synths widen the field into long, corrosive zones of pressure, drift and distortion. The result is less a conventional noise album than a sequence of hostile environments: cracked electronics, buried pulse, distorted low-end mass and tonal debris arranged into shifting states of tension.

Across its six tracks, Misprision balances density and pacing, allowing harsh surfaces to open into extended drone passages before tightening again around rhythmic fragments, guitar abrasion and vocal rupture. It is a grim, immersive and deliberately unsettled recording, rooted in the Love Earth Music orbit of noise and experimental sound but shaped by the duo's particular mix of industrial texture, ambient decay and confrontational electroacoustic force.
