Written by Catalan composer Ferran Fages for pianist Lluïsa Espigolé following a quote by Catalan author Carles Camps Mundó — "Barely anything: deformities of silence" — this delicate work of resonance, space and suspense slowly unfolds, the score giving Espigolé choices for timing and placement as each meaningful note or combination subsides.

Taking the place of both bass and horn in this uniquely orchestrated piano trio, the long friendship of NY improviser Josh Sinton on baritone sax, bass clarinet & flute with Boston-area improvisers, pianist Jed Wilson and drummer Tony Falco, is heard in the intimate and warm dialog the three share in their 2021 performance at the Soul Shop in Medford, Massachusetts.

Fraqx, the Netherlands duo of guitarists Jacq Palinckx and Frank Crijns, both on electric guitar and "devices", debut their collaboration with this 7-part journey of rich deformations, from raw visceral energy to subdued experimentation, a diverse set of textures and powerful playing from two players with a long history of unusual improvisation.

After the earliest versions of the Euphorium_freakestra toured in Weimar, Leipzig, Dresden, Krakow & Gottingen in 2000, pianist Oliver Schwerdt and guitarist Friedrich Kettlitz came together to develop a suite for grand piano, acoustic guitar and free vocals, a prelude to the album Gay - Saunawirt ten years later, and the start of the professional recording history of the EUPHORIUM ensembles.

Nine improvisations between Italian trombonist and tubes player Carlo Mascolo (Kerlox Dynamic Band) and guitarist Andreas Fulgosi (By-Spiel Project) on baritone guitar, recording in Lisbon in 2017 for calmly developing dialog using unusual techniques and approaches to both instruments.

Focused on unusual rhythms at the intersections of electrified bass and guitars, the trio of Italian improviser Felice Furioso on drums & percussion, Portuguese electric guitarist Jorge Nuno and Brazilian electric bassist Felipe Zenicola (Chinese Cookie Poets) turn in seven generally growling and aggressively paced works under the umbrella of experienced prejudice.

During a sabbatical in London, Swiss saxophonist Christoph Gallio (Day & Taxi) renewed his friendship with percussionist Roger Turner, with whom he had performed in a trio with Urs Leimgruber; meeting at Turner's London flat, they developed the spontaneous language heard on this freely improvised album, Gallio on soprano, alto & C-melody saxophones and Turner on drums & distinctive percussive devices.

Developed as part of the 2024 artist-in-residence program at Azkuna Zentroa in Bilbao, this series of nine electroacoustic compositions by Miguel A. García and Fernando Carvalho blends rhythms, synthesizers, and Carvalho's field recordings, all manipulated and transformed by García into distinct sonic worlds, each unveiling or making curious mysteriously fascinating sources.
