Descriptions, Reviews, &c.

Under the Last Action alias, Belgian sound artist Carlo Steegen constructs a bleak and immersive sound world on Alien Chrome, recorded in Aalst during the summer of 2024. A veteran of the Antwerp noise scene and founder of the defunct Audiobot label, Steegen weaves layers of gritty electronics, fractured rhythms, and metallic textures into a raw studio performance that explores the edges of industrial abstraction. This solo outing distills decades of underground activity into a focused, tactile sonic statement-equal parts dystopian atmosphere and sculptural audio assault.
