Recorded in studio in SW France in March 1984 by Christian Tarrade and in Summer 1997 by Kent Carter.
"KENT CARTER's String Trio, with CARLOS ZINGARO on violin, FRANÇOIS DRENO on viola and the leader on double bass, somehow managed to sound like a classical chamber trio, a jazz group, and a European folk band simultaneously. Their unique niche features magnificent improvisations framed by Carter's strong compositions. There are also two short duo improvisations, and two short pieces by a later trio with ALBRECHT MAURER on violin and EMMANUELLE ROCH on viola. Edited reissue of ITM 970077 with extra material."-Emanem
