Ticking Clock & The Aftershock brings Street Rat's raw Philadelphia noise practice to Love Earth Music in a concentrated set of solo sound performance, object-based electronics and physical sonic pressure. Working as composer and performer, Gladys Nobriga shapes the album through the project's established language of DIY destruction, devotional intensity and tactile sound, extending a discography built from contact microphones, altered objects, analog sources, voice, strings, guitar and unstable amplification.

The title suggests both countdown and consequence, and the music follows that tension: sounds scrape, rupture, pulse and decay, building environments that feel handmade, unstable and urgently present. Street Rat's approach is less about polished electronic architecture than the direct activation of materials, spaces and emotional states, where small sounds become abrasive events and noise carries the imprint of body, room and action.
