Artist Biographies

Gladys Nobriga is a Philadelphia-based sound performer, visual artist, writer, comedian and activist from Miami, working with found objects, contact microphones, analog formats, texture, voice and physical presence. Their work moves through experimental sound, performance art, improvisation and social practice, using raw, direct materials to explore empathy, embodiment, community and resistance.
