Eva Matsigou (Εύα Ματσίγκου) is a Greek flutist, musician, musicologist, and sound researcher active in the experimental and electroacoustic music scenes. Based in Greece, she is known for her work with the Thessaloniki trio Eventless Plot, appearing as a guest musician on several releases including Parallel Worlds and Anisixia, where her flute contributions expand the group's textural and spatial approach to sound. Alongside Nefeli Sani, Matsigou co-founded the duo I Broke the Vase in 2018, a project centered on listening-based performance, free improvisation, and composition using instruments, voice, objects, electronics, and field recordings, often informed by feminist artistic perspectives. Her practice spans experimental, minimalist, contemporary, and electroacoustic improvisation, extending into video performance, sound research, and curatorial work focused on amplifying women's voices in electronic and experimental music.
