Artist Biographies

Miri Karraker is a violist living in Minneapolis, a member of the trio Dustsceawung since 2017. That trio shares an interest in lowercase music, focusing on subtle sounds and exploring "questions around instrument proficiency." They performed several concerts in 2017 and 2018 before pausing and later reconvening in 2022 via Zoom to continue their collaborative efforts.

"Noah Ophoven-Baldwin is an American composer, cornetist, and improviser currently living in so-called Minneapolis, Minnesota. His work collages field recordings, metronome and cornet. @doublec1992plays and writes music for the group Realtree, with releases on Public Eyesore and Zoomin' Night. Forthcoming solo and collaborative releases on Aloe Records and Zappak."

"Mitch Stahlmann Oakland based improvisor and composer/performer. His personal practice is dedicated to revealing the unearthed tones and uncharacteristic behaviours of the flute alongside proprietary electronic systems. His work has been presented in collaboration with and alongside Kronos Quartet, Meredith Monk, Mickey Hart and Zeena Parkins.

Notable releases: Into the Wish (Mondoj), Signal Quest (Orange Milk), RISA (self released).
