Artist Biographies

Lob Instagon is the driving force behind Instagon, a long-running noise/jam/improvisational project born in 1993. Based in the Sacramento/Miami AZ scene, Lob's neo‑psychedelic collective consistently performs with new musicians, yielding wildly unpredictable, ritualistic performances united under a "servitor" concept rooted in chaos magic. 

An organizer of NorCal Noisefest, distributor, bassist, poet, and visual artist, Lob is deeply embedded in experimental communities-often working under his art name "LOB." His performances blur disciplined funk, rock, and improvisation, yet maintain a core electric intensity.

Dan Shinder is a drummer, musician and media organizer best known as the founder and CEO of Drum Talk TV, an online platform launched in 2013 to connect drummers, musicians and music fans through interviews, performances and educational features. A recurring Instagon collaborator, Shinder appears here as one of the performers in Lob's extended network of spontaneous, genre-crossing creative projects.
