Two distinctive works of sounds and noise from Atlanta sound artist and drummer Kelsey Wilson composing extended works using field recordings collected between 2020-2022, volume/feedback and synthesizers; first a howling and heavy journey in "Bootstrap Story"; then a rich and ringing birthday party for Nick Cave that ends with haunting bells and running water.

An album of sonic environments reflecting on religion in the Southeast from Atlanta, GA drummer and sound artist Kelsey Wilson, using organ, tapes and field recordings to create dark and brooding meditations intended for loud playback, five opaquely layered constructions of ambience and drone, crackling tape loops, low-tones synths and disembodied voices.

	McCormick, John Collins Healthy Alternative To Thinking [CASSETTE w/ DOWNLOAD] (Eh?)
Two sound works from multimedia artist John Collins McCormick (Sky Thing) recorded using a multi-channel, portable sound system that employs up to 8 subwoofers in drum stands, amplifying low frequencies and rattling odds and ends he collected over the years, creating a rolling and controlled cacophony of quick rhythms and unusual asides from objects placed on the subwoofers.

	Onda, Aki Brisbane September 25 2004 (CASSETTE) (Room40)
As part of a 2004 performance series at Fabrique in Brisbane, Australia, Lawrence English invited experimental cassette and field recording artrist Aki Onda to present his unique approach to reusing and rupturing recordings using cassettes, Walkmans, delay pedals and fender twin amps, improvising this extended work & its coda, blurring concrete and inexplicable sources in remarkable ways.

	Haters, The / Kavader De Haters Und Kadaver [CASSETTE] (Tribe Tapes)
A split cassette of dark industrial noise from the long-running experimental sound unit The Haters founded by G.X. Jupitter-Larsen, in a cantankerous 10 minute buzz saw drone; and a "Venemous Agent" from the Israeli noise band Kadaver, aka Michael Zolotov, in a cycling work that builds to an oscillating throb of metalic and rumbling sources; edition of 75.

	Olive, Tim Ribbon [CASSETTE + DOWNLOAD] (Notice Recordings)
Sonic exploration and studio composition from Kobe, Japan-based, Canadian sound artist Tim Olive, using amplified objects, cast-off electronics and home made instruments including metal teeth, tuning forks, clockwork motors, electromagnets, cassette playback heads and magnetic pickups, recording each and layering them in the studio to create corrosively captivating aural journeys.

	Jacques, Anne-F Poudrerie [CASSETTE] (Winds Measure)
Using handmade devices and contraptions including small motors and found objects, Montreal sound experimenter Anne-Francoise Jacquese amplifies her miniature devices to create unexpectedly large textures and rhythms, which she manipulates with great instinct to create fascinating sonic environments, heard here in four pieces recorded in Montreal and Sackville from 2018-19.

	Frond Always There, Somewhere [CASSETTE + DOWNLOAD] (esc.rec.)
Frond, aka Richard Bultitude, is a UK sound artist who creates rich soundscapes of guitar, synthetics, field recordings and other ethereal elements, the mix of live instrumentation over drone and ambient environments adding warmth and personality to beautifully crafted works, each exuding a sense of inner calm through innately melodic music replete with detail.

	Berkson, Judith Liederkreis II [CASSETTE + DOWNLOAD] (Notice Recordings)
Featuring electronically-augmented vocal interpretations of lieder songs by such composers as Franz Schubert and Robert Schumann, New York vocalist Judith Berkson also presents purely electronic pieces engaging noise and feedback-oriented vignettes, the evolution of her project started in 2016 as she re-contextualizes classical music in powerfully expressive ways.

	Novik, Aaron Grounded [CASSETTE w/ DOWNLOAD] (Astral Spirits)
During the lockdown of 2020 clarinetist and composer Aaron Novik recorded the sounds of clarinet, bass clarinet and contrabass clarinet, using those samples to create this 10-part composition, a work of active counterpoint and minimalist structures with a playful sense of humor, the character of the samples bringing forth both acoustic and electronic evocations.

	Hughes, Sarah I Love This City And Its Outlying Lands [SINGLE SIDED CASSETTE] (Mappa)
A contemplative solo work of subtle nuance and laden atmospheres, slowly drifting through a virtual landscape of dampened details, from London composer and improviser Sarah Hughes, performing on zither, piano, Hammond organ, sine tones, white noise, electric harpsichord, and objects, using an eBow to draw sustained tones over which delicate progressions advance.

	Branche, Sebastien Lignes de Fuite [CASSETTE] (Mappa)
Sebastien Branche (Insub Meta Orchestra, Miguel A. Garcia) uses the tenor saxophone as a sound source, meticulously applying extended techniques, circular breathing and the resonance of the saxophone itself during improvisation, using Supercollider software in a two-way collaboration where the instrument also transforms the sounds provided by the computer.

	Mr. Stonecipher / Joshua Marquez Faux [CASSETTE] (910 Noise)
A split cassette between Wilmington sound artists Joshua Marquez, a Filipino-American composer, guitarist, and activist who explores the liminal space between tone and noise; and Mr. Stonecipher, aka Ryan L Lewis IV, a sound artist and filmmaker who works with dramatic sound and feedback of a cinematic quality, often employing unusual objects as source.

	Hawkins, Chester Metabolism Quartet / Nocturne For Poppy [CASSETTE] (Zeromoon/ Intangible Arts)
Electro-psychedelic explorer Chester Hawkins presenting two live performances in Washington DC -- one recorded in isolation at Intangible Arts' studio (4th September 2018) and one in public at Rhizome community arts space (8th September 2018) -- improvised autopsies of Lutoslawski's String Quartet by means of three granular synth engines and one tape-edit/concrete emulator.

	Owen, Ben Birds And Water, 2&3 (For Cassette) [CASSETTE] (Winds Measure)
Brooklyn-based Ben Owen recorded this work in 2010 at the Experimental Television Center in Owego, NY, presenting the original work "Birds And Water" and two edits, which are mastered by Giuseppe Ielasi.
