"Anna voor de Wind was born in Groningen, the Netherlands, in 1986. She studied at the Conservatory of Amsterdam clarinet with Hans Colbers and bass clarinet with Erik van Deuren, graduating cum laude from her Master studies in 2010. In 2011 she completed the International Ensemble Modern Academy and received a Master in Modern music at the Hochschüle of Frankfurt.

Anna has a very wide range of work experience, working as a freelancer with many professional orchestras and contemporary music ensembles as well as music-theatre companies. Examples include the Asko Schoenberg Ensemble, Nieuw Ensemble, Ives Ensemble, Veenfabriek and Ensemble Modern. Anna has taken part in many national and international competitions, academies and master classes. In the summer of 2010 she was invited as Young Artist in Residence with the National Youth Orchestra of the Netherlands, and spent time there working closely with the composer Mark-Anthony Turnage, who wrote her a solo piece. It was here that she made her debut as a soloist, with the clarinet concerto by Nielsen.

Anna is active in two newly founded ensembles: Looptail and the Amsterdam Collage Ensemble. With these ensembles she presents an innovative and challenging sound for both creators, performers and the audience alike."

"Floris van Bergeijk is a composer and musician. He composes electronic music, often looking for the intersection with improvised music and avant-garde. He also writes for film, theatre, dance and other projects. He has worked amongst others for the Rosa Ensemble."

"John Dikeman was born in Nebraska in 1983 and grew up in Kemmerer, Wyoming. Thanks to the extreme isolation of his hometown, he spent most of his free time practicing and studying music. He quickly discovered the music of John Coltrane, Cecil Taylor, John Zorn, and Albert Ayler and instantly connected to the unmatched expressive power of free jazz. John was very fortunate to meet and collaborate with many excellent improvisers at a rather early age. Dikeman started performing professionally at the age of 16 after meeting New Mexican guitarist Stefan Dill who became a mentor for John. Stefan also introduced Dikeman to Jack Wright who was living in Boulder, Colorado at the time. Jack would prove to be one of John's biggest influences and a long time collaborator (as well as short term landlord). John also spent a summer in Arkansas where he was able to woodshed and perform with saxophonist Keefe Jackson and bassist Jon Barrios.

Dikeman left Wyoming in 1999 to study saxophone and composition at the Interlochen Arts Academy and then briefly at Bennington College where he attended courses with drumming legend Milford Graves and was also able to collaborate regularly with drummer Ben Hall. John also studied privately with Joe Maneri during this period.

John then moved to New York City for one year where he worked as a satellite dish technician while performing as much as possible. After NYC, John moved to Philadelphia. Frequent collaborators of this time included Daniel Carter, Lukas Ligeti, and Ty Cumbie in The Color Now Band, Nate Wooley, Mike Pride, Jonathan Vincent, Jack Wright, Toshi Makihara, Jon Barrios, Kurt Heyl, Zack Fuller, Reuben Radding, Ava Mendoza, Raed Yassin, Daniel Carter, Jonathan Fretheim, Mike Barker and many others.

In 2004, Dikeman moved to Cairo, Egypt. In the three years he was there, he worked regularly as a performer, studio musician, and teacher. He performed as a soloist with the Cairo Symphony Orchestra, played and traveled throughout North Africa with Nubian pop star Mohamed Mounir, led his own jazz bands which performed weekly in downtown Cairo, performed and recorded with DJ Haze, played countless weddings and party's with The Riff Band, and served as the saxophonist in most Egyptian bands that needed one. He also performed at the Lebanese improvised music festival, Irtijal, in 2005 and 2006.

John moved to Amsterdam in December of 2007, after a brief stay in Budapest, Hungary. Since arriving in Amsterdam, John has jumped at the chance to re-enter the world of improvised music. John performs regularly in the Netherlands in venues including the Bimhuis, Paard van Troje, Café Wilhelmina, Paradox, Lindenberg, OT301, etc... John is also a curator for the OT301 New Music and Dance Program as well as the Tabula Rasa series at the Maarten Luther Kerk. Since moving to Amsterdam John has performed with Joe McPhee, Han Bennink, Andy Moor, Terrie Ex, Roy Campbell, Hilliard Greene, Mike Reed, Jeb Bishop, Ab Baars, Nate McBride, Fred Lonberg-Holm, Michael Vatcher, Jason Roebke, Wilbert De Joode, Dirk Bruinsma, Jasper Stadhouders, Onno Govaert, Andrea Taeggi, Frank Rosaly, Klaus Kugel, Yedo Gibson, Renato Ferreira, Raoul van der Weide, Eric Boeren, Viljam Nybacka, Wim Jenssen, Oscar Jan Hoogland, Ivo Bol, Alfredo Genovesi, Meinrad Kneer, Gerri Jager, Stevko Busch, and numerous other musicians from the Dutch and international improvisation scene."

"Koen Kaptijn, born 1976, is not only a trombonist but also a composer and theater maker. He graduated from the Rotterdam Conservatory in 2000 and played with De Volharding and the Maarten Altena Ensemble.

At the moment Koen plays as a regular member in Trio 7090, De Koene Ridders, New Trombone Collective, Asko / Schönberg Ensemble, New Ensemble, Rosa Ensemble, Splendor Amsterdam, David Kweksilber Big Band, Clazz Ensemble, Amsterdam Sinfonietta, Veenfabriek and Orkater.

On a freelance basis Koen Kaptijn also works on a colorful procession of exciting projects."

Koen Nutters is an upright bass player, born in The Hague, Netherlands in 1976. He is a founding member of the N Collective, and also organises the concertseries: DNK-Amsterdam.

"Michael Moore was born (1954) and raised in Arcata, California, USA. After absorbing music at home, playing locally and attending The College of the Redwoods and Humboldt State University, he moved to Boston to study with Jaki Byard, Gunther Schuller, Ran Blake, Joe Allard, George Russell and Joe Maneri at the New England Conservatory of Music, graduating in 1977. After a year in New York City he travelled to Europe for the first time in the summer of 1978 to play with Available Jelly, the musical accompaniment to the Great Salt Lake Mime Troupe. Since 1982 he has made his home in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

The early '80's found him working in the theater (Baal, Dogtroep, De Voorziening, Teo Joling, Mug met de Gouden Tand) and dance (Pauline De Groot, Katie Duck, Allessandro Certini, Shusaku Takeuchi and Virgilio Sieni) as well as various musical contexts such as Gijs Hendricks' Octet, Franky Douglas' Sunchild, Guus Janssen's Septet and Maarten Altena's Quartet and Octet. Later he played and recorded with the groups of Mark Helias, Gerry Hemingway, Sean Bergin, Maurice Horsthuis, Georg Graewe, Klaus Konig, Burton Greene (Klezmokum), Simon Nabatov, Dave Douglas, Myra Melford, Mark Dresser, Ig Henneman and others.

In 1986 he received the Dutch jazz award, the Boy Edgar Prijs. In '97 Trio Clusone was voted #1 acoustic group (Talent Deserving Wider Recognition) in Down Beat's Critics Poll; in 2000 - 2002 Moore was voted #1 clarinetist in the same poll. He was also voted winner of the Bird Award from the Northsea Jazz Fest in 2000.

Since '91 his activities as composer and performer have been documented both on his own recording label, Ramboy, and others including hatART, Palmetto, Gramavision, Between the Lines and Red Toucan. His playing and writing are to be heard on more than 80 CDs.

His activities as a concert designer came to the fore in '93 with a commission for YoYo Ma's Carte Blanche at the Concertgebouw, Amsterdam; a three day festival (Moore & more) in Bremen, Germany; Clusone & friends concerts in Italy and Holland, and a three-day Available Jelly Festival at the Felix Meritus concert hall in Amsterdam. In '94 he organized three evenings at De Singel in Antwerpen with Lee Konitz, Misha Mengelberg, Joey Baron, Marilyn Crispell, Gerry Hemingway, Kenny Wheeler, Mark Feldman and others.

His more recent activities include performances with his 'Fragile' Quartet, Michael Moore Quintet, Jewels & Binoculars - play the music of Bob Dylan, Misha Mengelberg's Instant Composers Pool Orchestra, the Magpie dance and music performance group, the Achim Kaufmann Trio, Benoit Delbecq, Oskar Aichinger (music of Carla Bley and Annette Peacock) and the Paul Berner band.

Michael Moore has a deep understanding of both the American jazz and the Dutch improvised music traditions, but his writing and playing are also influenced by music from other cultures. He has played Turkish music with Ogüz Büyükberber and Hüsnü Senlendirici, Malinese with Toumani Diabate, Keletigui Diabate and Habib Koite, Portuguese with Fernando Lameirinhas and Cristina Branco, and Brazilian with Rogerio Bicudo, Banda Mantiqueira and Paulo Moura. The musics of Sicily, Madagascar, Istria and Indonesia have also been particularly influential. He has collaborated with and been influenced by poets and poetry, dancers and other visual artists. Michael continues to write, improvise, play and prepare new releases for Ramboy and other labels."

Amsterdam guitarist, vocalist and illustrator Mark Morse has performed with Yannis Kyriakides, Metro (Anne-James Chaton + Andy Moor), and is a member of Orquesta Del Tiempo Perdido.

"Lives and works in Paris and Amsterdam.

He studied composition, sonology and architecture at the Universidad de Chile in Santiago and composition and classical guitar at the Royal Conservatory of the Hague. He received his degree in 1983.

He has been a member of various ensembles, among others BARROCO ANDINO, AMANKAY and HOKETUS (from 1979 until 1986).

Since 1981 he has been a member, interpreter and composer/arranger of the chilean ensemble QUILAPAYUN in Paris. Today he is their musical director. With Quilapayún he has given concerts all over the world and received the Special Award of the Organization of American States (OAS) in 1994 in Washington and the Order of Gabriela Mistral from the democratic Chilean government at the Chilean embassy in Paris in 1995.He is a member of LOOS since 1992, touring in Europe, North and South America and member of the electric guitar quartet CATCH.

As an interpreter of contemporary music (guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, mandoline, banjo, panflute) he colaborates regularly with different european ensembles: Ensemble Intercontemporain in France; Asko&Schoenberg Ensemble, Concertgebouw Orkest, Ebony Band, Radio Philharmonisch Orkest, Radio Kamer Orkest among others, in Holland; Ensemble Modern and Musik Fabrik in Germany.

He participates regularly in many premières of new music and modern operas like "Rosa" (Andriessen/Greenaway), "De Materie" (Andriessen/Wilson), "Writing to Vermeer" (Andriessen/Greenaway) or "The expedition" (Klas Torstensson)

He was one of the electric guitar players in "Electric Guitar Now" during the Holland Festival 2003 giving premières of "Loopstate" by Huib Emmer for Loos and The Radio Chamber Orchestra conducted by Peter Eötvos and Steve Mackey"s "Dream House" for electric guitar quartet and orchestra.

In 1991 the Dutch television dedicated the whole music program "Reiziger in de muziek" to his work, covering his activities in very different fields as interpreter and composer.

He was in 1991-92 music-editor-in chief of the "José Martí Revue" in Amsterdam.

He composes music for both soloists and ensembles. Some of his work includes the opera a capella "Tragicomedia de don Cristóbal y doña Rosita"('86) based on the play by F. García-Lorca, the opera "Pinocchio' for 10 singers/actors and 7 musicians for the ROTheater ('95); the Dance-Opera "A taste of glamour" ('97) for 4 countertenors/dansers and 4 musicians; "Kleine Cantate" ('99) for female voice, 4 singers, string quartett and el.guitar; "Suite for Violeta" (2000) for Winanda del Sur; "Amor América" (2000) for 2 singers and a salsa band (Rumbatá);"2 Sisters"(2001) for 2 pianos and voice for the pianoduo 'Post&Mulder';"Proloog" voor het Rosa Ensemble (2002) "Rooms" for het LOOS Ensemble en de Dansgroep Kristina de Châtel (2002), "Canciones Salvajes" on poems by P. Neruda for soloist, choir and ensemble (2004).

Since 1977 he has regularly been composing for film, dance and theater.

His work has been recorded by many artists, among others: Quilapayún (Picap records, Spain, Warner Chile, Dom and EMI,in France), Loos Ensemble ("Loos plays Patricio Wang. Music for Rooms", live series Loos, Holland)Winanda del Sur (Challenge Records, Holland), Rumbatá (Camina Records, Holland) and a selection of his work for cinema is released on cd ("Patricio Wang. Music for films").June 2005. Première "Camino del Agua" music for string orchestra for a performance by choreographers Feri de Geus and Noortje Bijvoets performed by the Netherlands Youth Strings Orchestra conducted by Johannes Leertouwer en young dancers from the cuban Escuela Nacional de Danza Moderna y Folclórica."

Tristan Renfrow is an Amsterdam drummer, known for the groups Blik, Loran Witteveen Trio, New Dog, Orquesta Del Tiempo Perdido, and Salsa Manzana.

"Amsterdam-based guitarist/composer Jeroen Kimman could be considered something of an anthropologist within the Dutch creative music scene. He's not strictly a composer, not strictly a hired gun "impossible guitar parts" player for modern ensembles, not strictly a gifted colorist for chamber jazz ensembles, not strictly a country music geek or ex math-rocker: his thing is more about collecting different approaches, learning from and slightly warping every musical angle that presents itself.

Like most professional chameleons, his cv is necessarily diverse. But whether playing jazz-related or improvised music, performing composed music with small ensembles or large orchestras, playing and/or composing for film, animation, theater, music theater, and contemporary dance productions, or even playing mariachi in funny pants for a wedding gig: there's a joy and a challenge in all of it, looking for the sweet spot.

He has performed and/or recorded with Sleep Gunner, Brown vs Brown, Roomtone, Rosa Ensemble, Ensemble MAE, Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, Doelen Ensemble, Qubit Philharmonic, Nederlands Blazers Ensemble, So Horse, Theater Utrecht, Vinex Productions, Opera Spanga, David Kweksilber Big Band, Jasper Stadhouders' Polyband, Pumporgan, ZT Hollandia and many others.

Apart from these what you might call "social endeavors", he records and produces his own music under the monniker Orquesta del Tiempo Perdido (previously Roomtone or Megasubtiel).

And for what it's worth, he has studied jazz guitar at the Arnhem conservatory, and plays a little pedal steel and banjo as well."
