"The music on this album can be described as drone / ambient / improv. The legendary guitarist Nils Wohlrabe is the initiator of this unique meeting of three musicians from different genres. Nils has a background in punk, noise and industrial music. Karin Johansson is a pianist and composer in improvised music, free jazz and contemporary music. She works with alternative techniques and prepared piano. Hasse Westling is a jazz bassist with a wide range of genres; he plays free improv, 50s/60s jazz and jazz manouche. Together they create an improvised soundscape; Nils' guitar and electronically processed ocean waves, Karin's prepared piano and Hasse's double bass. The result is unpredictable and atmospheric. The different character, rhythm and timbre of the waves generate a feeling of infinity, a pulsating eternal now."-Outerdisk

Nils Wohlrabe is a Gothenburg-based guitarist and electronics player whose work draws on punk, noise, industrial music, and free improvisation. Known locally through The Leather Nun and as the initiator of the trio with Karin Johansson and Hasse Westling, Wohlrabe uses electric guitar, electronic processing, and environmental sound sources to create dense, atmospheric soundscapes where raw energy, texture, and slowly shifting resonance meet in open-ended improvised form.
