Artist Biographies

Georgy Orlov-Davydovsky is a contemporary Russian experimental sound artist, noise musician, and researcher active within Moscow's underground electronic and sound-art scene. His work centres on dense drones, noise, and musique concrète, drawing on custom-built synthesisers, radios, found objects, and unconventional sound sources to explore psychophonics, radio transmission, and psychological perception.

Frequently collaborating with artists such as Alexei Borisov and Tala Nikitina, Orlov-Davydovsky has developed immersive, high-intensity sonic environments that blur the boundaries between electronic composition, improvisation, and sound research. In addition to performing and releasing recordings, he has been involved in organising experimental music festivals in Russia, contributing to the development and visibility of the local experimental community.
