Descriptions, Reviews, &c.

"Well, water has flowed under the bridge since the creation of the Ambiances Magnetiques label and other artists are now asserting themselves in the world of contemporary music. So much so that, at the DAME record company, we are constantly receiving new projects: younger artists, who have not yet released any records, and whose heads are overflowing with creative and refreshing ideas. It is from this observation that the concept of Sang 9 musical compilation was born. To give a platform to the next generation in current music, to discover new talents, new sounds and to start new collaborations. It is therefore a panoply of young artists who throw their ardor, their vitality and their ingenuity into our ears. A new generation that represents flagrant proof that current music is alive and well and that it will be around for a long time to come. Blood 9: It's a Must!"-Ambiences Magnetiques

(Les Disques Victo)

A ferociously precise live duo from the 2002 Victoriaville festival pairing pianist Satoko Fujii with Ruins drummer Tatsuya Yoshida, both adding voice to an exhilarating barrage of stop-time exchanges, pounding rhythms, abrupt jump cuts and comic theatricality, racing through free improvisation, metal, boogie-woogie, tango and other stylistic collisions with remarkable speed, control and gleeful unpredictability.
