Franz Hautzinger formed the orchestra in 1995 as an ensemble for experimental music, developing into an advanced improvising band that incorporates a shifting and diverse set of styles, heard here at Klangspuren Festival in 2019 with Hautzinger on trumpet, Christian Fennesz on guitar & laptop, Otomo Yoshihide on guitar & turntables, Luc Ex on bass, and Tony Buck on drums.

Chimaera is the ensemble of Sylvie Courvoisier on piano, her core trio with Drew Gress on bass, Kenny Wollesen on drums & vibraphone, expanded by two trumpeters--Wadada Leo Smith & Nate Wooley--and affected by Austrian guitarist Christian Fennesz who provides sonic backdrops for the improvisations over Courvoisier's compositions, focusing on aura over pyrotechnics; absolutely sublime.

20th anniversary reissue of Fennesz's 2004 release Venice, as a deluxe version remastered by Denis Blackham, with new and extra tracks not on the previous CD or vinyl versions, in a DVD-format with a booklet of texts by Fennesz, Denis Blackham, and Jon Wozencroft, photographs from the 2004 sessions, and David Sylvian's original handwritten lyrics for "Transit."
