"Felix Profos studied piano with Hans-Jürg Strub at the then Winterthur Conservatory from 1988 to 1994 and 1998 to 1999, and composition with Roland Moser at the Basel Music Academy (1992 to 1996) and with Wladimir Tarnopolski at the Moscow Conservatory (1996 to 1997).

He wrote compositions for symphony and chamber orchestras, ensembles, bands, soloists, electronics and video, in collaboration with, among others. with the soloist ensemble Kaleidoskop (Berlin), the Mondrian Ensemble (Basel), the avant-core trio Steamboat Switzerland, the percussion duo Niggli-Zumthor, the Sinfonietta Basel, the Kammerorchester Basel, the Amsterdamer Ensemble mae, the Musikkollegium Winterthur orchestra, with the Poet Raphael Urweider and pianist Tamriko Kordzaia.
