A searing trio of saxophonist Martin Escalante, bassist Tete Leguia, and drummer Charlie Mumma, captured across sessions in Nashville and Grand Rapids, unleashing an uncompromising pedal-free noise assault that fuses the extremity of free jazz with noise music intensity, their ferocious interplay creating dense, volatile structures that channel chaos into a raw, intuitive sonic onslaught.

"A relentless pedal-free noise blitz that will surely offend most music lovers is certainly going to delight a wide range of noise fans. This album fits somewhere between extreme free jazz and the works of Iannis Xenakis.
Charlie Mumma has played drums on over 150 albums with legendary noise-grind-music concrete band Sissy Spacek, led by John Wiese, an outfit that changes members almost as often as they get in the studio. Martin Escalante has appeared on a few of those Spacek albums; in fact, that is how Mumma and Escalante first met, while recording with members of LAFMS, Bill Nace, C Spencer Yeh and others.
Escalante has also recorded a few dozen albums with Otomo Yoshihide, Weasel Walter, Tatsuya Yoshida, Moe, Toshiji Mikawa and others. Tete Leguia is very active in the New York improvisation scene and is a frequent collaborator of Escalante's. Leguia comes from the vibrant experimental scene in Lima, Peru, but now is a staple of the New York scene and has also played with Weasel Walter, Sam Weinberg, James McKain and many others.
This CD documents their first session and live performance as a trio. Once you press play, do not expect for this thing to "build up to something" or "mellow out". However, there is a satisfying structure here, propelled by some kind of intuitive motion, which maybe like a dream that serves to process the apparent nonsense and absurdity of real life."— Wash and Wear Records
