"I studied Electroacoustic music at the CNRR Conservatory where I specialised in multi-channelled diffusion (Acousmatic spatialisation) and Modular Synthesis. Using Buchla System 200, Serge 73/75 and a modified EMS Synthi A analog Synthesizers to create my "Electronic abstractions" and Plastic sound-objects.Sculpting sound like a craftsman, without restraint or sometimes "on the tip of the hands", I am interested in the importance of the compositional gesture, to favor the live touch without repetitions, by impulse, in a very corporeal way. VISCERALITY !

also play various instruments or devices, though most notably a Prepared Piano-Soundboard + an Electric Psalterion + Hackbrett Cymbalum + Guitars + turntables as well as Theremin + Soline and Roland Fantom G6 synths and computer to build up electronic layers, process acoustic and field recordings. On top of those, I like to move various glasses, pieces of wood, stones, or percussive objects, as well as taking advantage of vinyl material to fondle released sounds engraved on unique vinyls in order to manipulate them manually on stage.

Relying on electricity/amplification to produce, manipulate, work on sound-material, but trying my best to explore various genres and make sure that each of my albums differs from the previous one, trying to avoid routine and surprise my listeners.

Not musically trained/educated I lie outside the Classical genre but my scores incorporate traditional classical components in a predominantly unconventional manner which recently allowed me to being asked by Iancu Dumitrescu & Ana Maria Avram to join forces as a soloist in their Hyperion Ensemble + being invited by Jean-Paul Dessy (Musiques Nouvelles ensemble) and Raoul Lay (Ensemble Télémaque) to become in charge of electronics/turntables in their ambitious E. C. O. (European Chamber Orchestra) formation comprising of 33 soloists...

Fortunate enough to work with what people call a dream-team of collaborators: joining Lydia Lunch, Murcof, The European Contemporary Orchestra (E.C.O.), Mark Cunningham (MARS), Cindytalk, Orkest De Ereprijs, Audrey Chen, Mia Zabelka, Iancu Dumitrescu's Hyperion Ensemble, Stephen O'Malley, Yannick Barman, PAS or Faust onstage and-or in studio.

Besides I did some recordings with: Eugene Robinson (Oxbow), Edward Ka-Spel (Legendary Pink Dots), Simon Fisher Turner, Kumo, Scott McCloud (Girls Against Boys), Cosey Fanni Tutti (Throbbing Gristle), My Brightest Diamond, Sybarite, Foetus, Pantaleimon, Graham Lewis (Wire), Barry Adamson, Andy Diagram, Scanner, Machinefabriek, Mira Calix, Kammerflimmer Kollektief, Justin K. Broadrick, James Johnston (Gallon Drunk/Bad Seeds/Faust), ASVA, Jarboe, Jad Fair, Martin Dupont and many more...

I am also the founder (w/ Hervé Vincenti) of the international collective Strings Of Consciousness

A journalist for various magazines and radio DJ since 1983, as well as a musical activist, I have celebrated 35+ years of sharing/transmitting my musical passions.Since the early 2000s I have been introduced as a " musical travel agent " and been performing the world, playing festivals all over Europe, Russia, Poland, Canada, USA, Mexico, Australia & Asia... Feeling lucky to release on several international labels such as Oscillations, Aural Terrains, Opa-Loka, Southern UK, Monotype, Alrealon Musique, Beta Lactam Ring, Sub Rosa, HomeNormal, Important, HelloSquare, Public Eyesore, Utech, Staubgold, etc...(see the section "Friends/Collaborators" above in the Menu bar for a detailed list + links).

I like to perform in galleries or other atypical (non-musical) places and acts like a sonographer. Thus my sound-designs have been heard for various F.R.A.C. in France, and also internationally, most notably in MOMA (New York), MACBA (Barcelone), E_Werk/Transmediale (Berlin), Center for Contemporary Arts (Glasgow), Galerie Moderno (Leeds), Ars Electronica (Linz), Synch Festival (Athèns), Société des Arts Technologiques (Montréal), Recycl'ART (Bruxelles), "Transcultural Mapping" @ RIXC from Riga, "Numeris Causa" Biche de Bere Gallery (Paris), Sintesi (Citta Della Scienza - Naples), Arborescence (Aix-en-Provence), Instituto Cultural Poblano (Puebla - Mexico), Eléctron (Genève), Alfa Art Gallery (New-York), CocART - CSW (Torun - Pologne), M.A.K. (Vienne), Reina Sofia National Museum (Madrid), Borusan Center For Arts (Istanbul), Tranzit Art Gallery (Bucharest), or Art-O-Rama the rendez-vous for Contemporary Art in France...

I am aso the man behind the cult labels Pandemonium Rdz. and BiP_HOp."

"Wouter Jaspers (Deurne, February 22, 1985) is a sound artist.

His work mainly consists of minimal soundscapes and drones for which he often experiments with effects equipment, modified synthesizers and contact microphones, where analog noise and field recordings form the basis of various melodic structures. Jaspers - then still stationed in Tilburg - played more than 400 times around the world between 2007 and the end of 2010, making it one of the most touring artists in the Dutch experimental music scene.

In 2007 at Vatican Analog released CD Babi Yar, an exploration includes a tribute to the victims of the massacre at Babi Yar in Kiev, Ukraine, in 1941. On the CD Exhibition, released in the spring of 2008, he translates field recordings he made in Ukraine, India, Poland and Germany into new compositions. For this CD he traveled to Theresienstadt, among other places, and used recordings from the radioactiveinfected area around Chernobyl.

His album Glorious Days was released in 2009, on which he collaborated with, among others, the lead singer of the Norwegian band Serena Maneesh, Emil Nikolaisen, who also worked as a producer and sound engineer on albums by the American band Woven Hand. To promote the album, Jaspers toured the United States, much of Europe and Asia.

In August 2010, Jaspers spent a week in the primeval forests around Brno, Czech Republic to work on a new album, which will be released in mid- April 2011 on his Vatican Analog record label. On September 27, 2010 he gave an artist workshop in Amsterdam at STEIM, institute for electronic music.

Besides his solo work, Jaspers is also active in other projects within and outside his noise collective Vatican Analog, such as in 4DALADIEZ, an experimental improv band with Vincent Koreman, Steffan de Turck, Bas Welling and Bas Verbeek. Together with De Turck he also forms the occasional duo Preliminary Saturation, he performs with Frans de Waard as Ezdanitoff and he performed with the Norwegian Sten Ove Toft with drone and noise project The Professional Skaters. He also collaborates with the American cellist Audrey Chen.

As an experimental musician, Jaspers developed a fascination for modifying analog equipment. For example, in 2010, together with technician and musician Christian Zollner, he set up the company Koma Elektronik, with which the duo started producing analog equipment for adventurous musicians from Berlin. The company now has a large group of employees and the products of the brand are sold all over the world. In 2016, the company also opened a workshop and shop in Berlin, Common Ground."

"C. Spencer Yeh was born in Taipei, Taiwan 1975, moved to the US in 1980; studied radio/television/film at Northwestern University, and is now based out of Cincinnati, Ohio. Yeh is active both as a solo and collaborative artist, as well as with his primary project, Burning Star Core. As an improviser, Yeh is focused on developing a personal vocabulary using violin, voice, and electronics. As a sound artist/composer, Yeh works with all aspects available surrounding a work, aurally and physically, as elements key to the cumulative experience. He is concerned not only with the sensual aspects of 'sound organization,' but the gestural qualities as well. Yeh has collaborated with a deep and ever-growing list of artists and groups, including Tony Conrad, New Humans with Vito Acconci, Evan Parker, Thurston Moore, Amy Granat with Jutta Koether, Justin Lieberman, Don Dietrich and Ben Hall (as The New Monuments), Prurient, and Jandek. "Kevin Drumm is an experimental musician based in Chicago, United States

Emerging from the city's improvised music scene, in the 1990s he became one of the world's pre-eminent prepared guitar players. Since then his work has expanded to include electroacoustic compositions and live electronic music made with laptop computers and analog modular synthesizers. His early recordings contain mostly sparse, quiet sounds; recent works have been more loud and dense.

Drumm has collaborated with many artists working in similar fields, including Japanese guitarist Taku Sugimoto, multi-instrumentalist and producer Jim O'Rourke, and many European improvisers such as Swedish saxophonist Mats Gustafsson and German trumpeter Axel Dörner. He has also worked with the artist group Simparch, composing a piece for their installation Spec, shown at Documenta XI in Kassel, Germany and at the Renaissance Society in Chicago. Drumm has also worked with saxophonist Ken Vandermark's Territory Band, which brings together American and European players who work in both jazz and free improvisation.:
