Essentially a solo album from composer and improviser based in NYC Hampus Öhman-Frölund, this extended work uses a zither as its basis, augmented by a MicroKorg and the voice of Huvudbry bandmate Avery Leigh Draut, using no set tempo and framed and inspired around a picture of the woods near where Öhman-Frölund grew up; really lovely and inspired work.

"I was given an old zither by a friend. At that time I needed to explore other sounds than what I could conjure from my main instrument, the drums. The music I made during this period relates to time in a free-floating way. An old friend showed me a picture from the woods where we grew up. It really moved me and I kept this image inside my head while making this music. The idea of a longer piece came to mind and "Piggelin-rundan" started taking shape. There were two rules to follow: No set tempo. No synthesizers. But then I rented a MicroKORG for an hour and here we are. I finished the piece during the first couple of weeks of quarantine. Avery Leigh Draut sang beautifully and Robbie Lee took it all to the next level."-Hampus Ohman-Frolund
