"Gelber Lilac is a romantic still life in which the colors are not right. "Gelber Lilac" does not combine an absolute complementary color, but contrasts yellow with lilac. "Gelber Lilac" is an electro-acoustic trio that includes alto saxophone, viola and electronics. The ensemble uses alternative playing techniques on their instruments and uses "noise improvisation" to achieve a lyrical and contemplative music. With a childlike gesture, the trio lets improvisation grow into an increasingly mature form. More sun for the bees. More fire for our eyes. Mostly yellow, more yellow."-Luise Volkman website
