Forged from a 2024 chance meeting in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the Wallace, Vazquez, and von Schultz project came together as quickly as it did naturally. Their "big bang" moment of origination occurred at the suggestion of a mutual colleague. Pianist Brooklynite Eli Wallace was in town on tour and met with local heroes, double bassist Pablo Vazquez and drummer Marcelo von Schultz, at Prez for their first-ever performance together. Their chemistry was earth-shattering -- and the audience felt it. In fact, their reaction lit the torch for the group's trailblazing steps forward.

Before they knew it, they were recording this debut album at Berlin's iconic Kuhlspot amidst a fourteen-show, fifteen-day tour across five European countries.
