"Q. what is the Philosophy of THE WAY? albums write themselves /
it is the job of the musician to stay out of the way as much as possible //
by staying out of the way you follow THE WAY //
/ a way becomes THE WAY in its act of doing /
an album that gets written on the way to its WAY //
an act of death~birth~redemption //
/ THE WAY to this album /
a 40 minute walk to the station, a 40 minute train journey, a 40 minute walk to the studio //
a way that became THE WAY //
/ this way led from death depression despair /
thru re-birth re-semblance re-surrection //
to eternal return nietzsche deleuze tromans //
/
this way led from one place to another to another /
on foot, by rail, by foot //
thru a rainstorm, a wrong way that then became part of THE WAY, a flooded ford, a bridge across //
/ that was the way /
became THE WAY to its album, waiting to be born from death~birth~redemption //
QED //
