Descriptions, Reviews, &c.

"Feel No Other started in 2009 with Brian Lea McKenzie (Electric Bird Noise) composing instrumentals that he thought needed strong female vocals. Even after playing shows with Claudia Gregory (Exhaust the Fox, Claudia Versus the Queen of Hearts) it wasn't until 2011 that things fell together for them working together. Gregory's background in americana storytelling & McKenzie's background in cinematic soundscapes has resulted in songs with an epic feel that could fit as well for the closing credits of an anime series as a David Lynch film.

On their debut album their songs bring to life stories reminiscent Guillermo Del Toro & Bob Dylan in equal measures. Nightmares alone in bed at night & broken relationships in foreign lands form a record that would sound as refreshing & heartfelt fifty years ago or fifty years from now as it does today."-Silber Media
