A 21 piece masterwork from the reticent Tickmayer (Science Group), who hasn't released a solo work in several years. This CD creates an amazing array of fascinating "orchestral" works that draw on a wide variety of genres (along with some leftover Science Group material) to create studio compositions that take place at a thoughtfully breathtaking pace. Repeated listenings only break the surface on the compositional density, but the works aren't dense in an auditory sense, simply in complexity and depth of imagination. Incredible.
