The Perturbations ensemble — featuring PEK, Michael Caglianone, John Fugarino, and Joel Simches — delivers a dense, sometimes unhinged and exploratory session of free improv, where layered reeds, brass, electroacoustic textures, and a vast arsenal of unconventional instruments evolve through continuous transformation, shaped in real time by Simches' dynamic electronic processing.

The quartet of David Peck, Michael Caglianone, Bob Moores, and Joel Simches craft a dense, immersive electroacoustic improvisation, using an arsenal of woodwinds, electronics, prepared percussion, and manipulated sound, navigating shifting textures and dynamic transformations as Simches' real-time signal processing shape-shifts their constantly evolving sonic landscape.

Expanding the boundaries of real-time signal processing as an active improvisational voice, the trio of David Peck (PEK), Albey onBass, and engineer Joel Simches are heard in a dynamic session where Simches manipulates and transforms instrumental expressions into intricate sonic layers, merging winds, percussion, electronics, and bass with live perturbations.

Evil Clown's most recent ensemble led by PEK and Joel Simches focuses on trio configurations to highlight Simches' real-time signal processing; this session features PEK, Michael Caglianone, and John Fugarino on horns, auxiliary percussion, and electronics, delivering dynamic transformations across sonorities under the influence of Simches' manipulations.
