Extending their TRAC debut Cylinder Plus, Teddy Ryles and Alexander Cooper shape a 90-minute two-CD computer-music composition developed with custom source-filter modeling and cepstral-based transfer methods, transforming digital artifacts, modeled resonance, spectral detail, and unstable electronic textures into a long-form electro-acoustic study of timbre, residue, structure, and abstraction.

The first release from TRAC, the duo of Teddy Ryles and Alexander Cooper, brings together their shared Oberlin TIMARA background and solo electro-acoustic practices in a rigorously processed work built from reconstituted digital artifacts, using spectral decomposition, deformation and iterative procedures to shape dense, unstable electronic forms where texture, residue and structure continually erode and recombine.

A double CD of composed environmental sound works from Francisco López, assembling raw field recordings from locations including Tenerife, Eswatini, Israel, Georgia, Chile, and the southwestern USA, along with a film soundtrack and a collaboration with Felipe Otondo, creating immersive, abstract electroacoustic pieces with intentional silences and textural extremes.

A meditative and immersive work of sonic abstraction, Alexander Cooper's first solo release in eight years unfolds as a lattice of minimalism-inspired harmonic diffusion, where shifting textures and fluid structures dissolve into ethereal, non-representational spaces, blurring the boundaries between form and perception in a dynamic interplay of sound and air.

Live improvisations from the North Carolina duo of Alexander Cooper and Joseph Schlam, a double album of eight extended journeys through textural sound, drone and veiled reference, influenced by Costin Miereanu, Jaap Vink, Lionel Marchetti, Luc Ferrari, and Dagar Vani, as the duo work in stereo using two amps for drums, voice, live electronics, and field recordings.
