Blending Swiss and Argentine heritage, violinist Sophie Lüssi, along with Sandra Weiss (sax & bassoon), Fridolin Blumer (double bass), and Andreas Wettstein (drums), crafts an improvisational sound rooted in jazz, tango, and folk traditions, shaped by her studies in Zurich and two decades in Buenos Aires, resulting in a music that is both technically brilliant and deeply expressive.

Coordinated and composed by d'incise and Cyril Bondi, this incredible Swiss-based collective of 30 to 40 experimental musicians was founded in 2010 and has presented concerts and recordings since; this CD presents two works, "13 unissons" splitting the orchestra into 13 subgroups; and "27 times" where each musician plays 27 times in 30 minutes; phenomenal.

French-Japanese violist Frantz Loriot's large ensemble drawn from 5 nations in an excellent set of compositions that employ a diverse set of approaches, slyly drawing the listener into unique and encompassing sound worlds of remarkable elements and superb improvisation.
