Mitsuru Tabata (田畑満 (Tabata Mitsuru), also Mitsuko Tabata is a Japanese underground rock guitarist, bassist, vocalist and composer. He Began his music career in the early 80s with Noizunzurie. He is a founding member of The Boredoms in 1986. Started activities as DIP THE FLAG in 1987. Formed dip in 1991 and has been active as a guitarist and vocalist. Also released three solo albums in the early 1990s. A work that uses a lot of acoustic guitar in contrast to the psychedelic electric guitar guitar sound, while having an edge with dip.

He formed the band I 'M FLASH! BAND with Yusuke Chiba, Tatsuya Nakamura, and KenKen and was in charge of the song for the movie "I'M FLASH!" released on September 1, 2012.

He has been cited as "[the] indisputable master drummer of the Japanese underground". Along with his participation in bands, he has also released several solo recordings."
