Trained in classical music in elementary and high school, then in jazz and popular music at CEGEP, she has since developed a passion for living heritage, the cornerstone of her interests and her artistic practice. For her, traditional music and the life stories of those who precede us deserve much more than the backward-looking attitude that is too often reserved for them, because they are social bond creators, fundamentally unifying and universal. VS' In her artistic practice, Patricia seeks to open up reflection and dialogue on cultural identity, otherness and migration. To do this, she uses the rich material of traditional music and looks at her own realities as a woman and a visible minority resulting from immigration in order to highlight narratives that are not very present in current representations of the world, drawing in particular from its Cantonese roots and Malagasy family influence." ^ Hide Bio for Patricia Ho-Yi Wang • Show Bio for Robert Bastien Robert Bastien is a Canadian guitarist, known for his work with GGRIL ( Le Grand Groupe Régional d'Improvisation Libérée). ^ Hide Bio for Robert Bastien • Show Bio for Robin Servant "Robin Servant [Rimouski, Canada] is a musician with a passion for traditional musics, improvisation, and composition.
