Descriptions, Reviews, &c.

In June last year 2018 the Catalan saxophonist Albert Cirera, the English Swiss drummer Nicolas Field and the Poloish bass player Rafal Mazur met in Krakow. They had planned several concerts, a recording session and to spend time together. In Krakow's alchemy they played a concert and CD released via Not two Records the following summer under the title Five Spontaneus Ones.

The next concerts for the trio were to take place in Lodz and Pozonan, but unfortunately Mazur could not participate. The trio reduced to a duo played a series of very expressive and emotional concerts, including this concert at The Dragon Club in Poznan. The nearly 45 minutes of that performance bring a real eruption of free jazz, with Cirera in energetic spirit, using strong technique, instrument preparation, all against Field's rolling powerful and varied approaches to rhythm, with great agility and creative expression.
