Agrakal is the trio of Marco Colonna (clarinet), Augusti Fernandez (piano), and Zlatko Kaucic (percussions), three musicians able to cross cultures and attitudes and develop a new language of abstract collective jazz, Fernandez being the pivot point between the trio, having previously recorded and toured as a duo with both Colonna and Kaucic.

Agrakal is the trio of Marco Colonna (clarinet), Augusti Fernandez (piano), and Zlatko Kaucic (percussions), three musicians able to cross cultures and attitudes and develop a new language of abstract collective jazz. The Majorcan pianist Agusti Fernandez has already collaborated with Marco Colonna, with whom he gives the prints Desmadre (Fonterossa Records, 2014) and Birth of Shapes record Live at the Art Center of Padua in 2016; and with Kaucic, with whom he recorded in duo and played numerous concerts, along with a trio with Evan Parker.
The Danish critic Jan Granlie writes in salt-peanuts.eu about Marco Colonna's concert for NovaraJazz 2017: "Italy has a tradition in bass clarinet, I have heard Carlos Actis Dato and nothing other than Gianluigi Trovesi in the past. But here I have heard a powerful sound, worthy of Eric Dolphy, in free improvisations of enormous power and energy. When Colonna plays clarinet and bass clarinet together, he seems to listen to a Hardanger violin: he creates a drone with one of the clarinets while he improvises with the other something that might remind one of Voss".
