The first album from the Japanese improvising quartet of electric guitarist Kazuhisa Uchihashi (Altered States), cross-media violinist Keisuke Ohta, bassist Shinobu Kawai (Yoshihide Otomo Special Big Band, Akira Sakata) and drummer Akira Sotoyama (Tipographica, Koichi Matsukaze Quartet), in three avant jazz improvisations captured live at Knuttel House in Tokyo.

Two 60's collaborators of Japanese guitarist Masayuki Takayanagi--drummer Hiroshi Yamazaki and bassist Nobuyoshi Ino--formed this "Tryangle" to invite third improvisers for their performances, here joining forces with alto saxophonist Eiichi Hayashi (Catle Band, Aki Takase) for this exceptional live concert at Koen-dori Classics, in Tokyo, Japan in 2022.

Driven by a passionate intensity, this first meeting of drummer Tatsuya Yoshida (Ruins, Korekyojinn, Koenji Hyakkei, &c) and pianist Dario Suga at 7th Floor in Shibuya, Japan begins at high speed, the sheer technical brilliance of both players dazzling, their unbridled energy eventually yielding to passages of introspection that recur to fervor and fraternity; exceptional!

Meeting at GOK Sound studio in Kichijoji, Japan in front of a small audience, Swedish baritone saxophonist Mats Gustafsson (The Thing, Fire!) also performing on flutephone and live electronics, and Otomo Yoshihide (Ground-Zero, Regenorchester) performing on guitar, turntable and banjo, recorded these eight amazing improvisations of unusual and unique attitudes and timing.

Otomo Yoshihide started The Asian Meeting Festival in 2005 to foster creative interaction between Japanese and other Asian musicians, since 2014 curated by DJ Sniff, and here in the 2017 edition at GOK Sound, in Tokyo, Japan with a who's-who of players including Yoshihide, Ryoko Ono, Ko Ishikawa, Son X, KEITO, Yuji Ishihara, Yuen Chee Wai, &c. &c.

A duo improvisation recorded at Shichoshitsu Jinbo-cho, in Tokyo, Japan between no-input mixing electracoustic improviser Toshimaru Nakamura and Doubtmusic label leader and member of mn and MNK, Jun Numata on guitar, oscilator, radio, in a varied and turbulent affair of extreme electronics, sound and noise that takes the listener on a wild ride.

Three free improvisations at the burning heart of the Japanese Free Improv scene from the trio of Junji Hirose on sax, Yoshinori Mochizuki on bass, and Ironfist Tatsushima on drums, balancing two tracks of frenetic playing with a lowercase extended instrumental piece.

Japanese guitarist and daxophone player Kazuhisa Uchihashi joins forces with Berlin-based composer and free improvising analogue modular synthesizer player Richard Scott for an album of unique orchestration, the daxophone "humanizing" the playing with unusual voicing.
