Maroney, Denman / Dominic Lash
All Strung Out
Released in: Israel

Maroney and Lash met in 2010 at the Music Omi foundation in upstate New York and cemented their transatlantic alliance back in New York, when they joined reedsman Tim Hodgkinson for a concert at The Stone in September 2011. Its success prompted a performance at London's Café Oto early in 2012, which I had the good fortune to witness, memorable for its combination of exhilarating technique and invention, and for the humility which underscored their dialogue.
