Recorded by Yoshio Machida at Heaven Studio, Belgrade in March-April, 2006. Mixed by Yoshio Machida at Smallaxe, Tokyo in 2006.
"Mutatation of "POP" post-rock by a Japanese active steelpanist / sound artist, "Yoshio Machida" & a post-folk band, "Cinc". Sophisticated lyrics & sound burst! So far they played together, for example, at famous music festival in Belgarade "Ring Ring" ( Otomo Yoshihide, Metamkine, Djivan Gasparyan, etc. played there in the past.) Then they recorded their pieces at last in spring, 2006.
Machida has visited to Serbia some times when he had his tours in Europe (incl. ISEA2004, MAERZ Musik, etc ). Cinc is an alternative band which leads Serbian alternative scene. 2 albums are already released from Amorfon, praised by Simon Raymonde (Cocteau Twins) as "Beguiling". Member is Djordje Ilic (guitar, vocal), Luka stanisavljevic (bass, vocal) Irena Vanic (vocal), Srdjan Stojanovic (violin). Beautiful melody by Steel Pan (tr1), singing comical mind of a girl waiting (tr2), a hero is active in moon night (tr8), Balkan's 11 time with vocorder (tr9), reminiscent of the 80s cool New Wave (tr10), Grandma became grandpa?(tr11)... Acoustic, 8bit, steel pan, kitschy, electronics to orchestral & grunge... Cross over genre from post-rock to electronica like : Hanne Hukkelberg, Peter, Bjorn and John, Yo La Tengo, Leaf, Morr Music... "-amorfon
