"Dream Weapon is a Tropical Ambient New Age music project from Surf Coast-based visual artist Ben Bjork. The debut album, New Blue Lagoon-out soon through Eternal Music Projects-unfolds as a hazy trip set across a single day in a remote tropical oasis, from the shimmering hues of opener Tangerine Dawn, to the nocturnal drift of closer Night Gallery.

Recorded over five years in Honolulu, Los Angeles, Isla Mujeres, Uluwatu, and Geelong, the album layers synths, electric guitars, samples, and field recordings to create a meditative, immersive space that at times sounds as serene as levitating over an infinity pool, and at others times, as ominous as a seance in a sweat lodge in the desert.

This sound Bjork refers to as 'AmbienGaze'-a tropical cocktail of ambient, new age, drone and shoegaze."-EMP
