Narcotic Dreams is a project from James McCrea of Richmond, VA. The music drifts between almost inaudible hum and loud, overdriven feedback. This is created from heavily processed electric guitar, bass and organ. McCrea processes these instruments so much that he buries their identities and you'd be hard pressed to name any sound's source. These sounds are all molded into a textured and timbral sound world. More sound design for an imagined world than casual listening for your commute.
