Uniting Otomo Yoshihide on guitar and turntable with alto/soprano saxophonist and electronic musician Kei Matsumaru, this live Tokyo duo moves fluidly between free jazz, noise and electroacoustic abstraction, their quicksilver exchanges, abrasive textures and sudden shifts of density evoking the album's theme of the unstable, hallucinatory passage between sleep and wakefulness.
