Leveraging the resonance of a Romanesque chapel, the duo of reedists Bertrand Gauguet and Jean-Luc Petit bring together alto and baritone saxophones with contrabass clarinet and sopranino in five improvisations whose instrument pairings shift from track to track, the changing light and hour colouring breath, multiphonics and resonance into patient spectral dialogues of evolving harmonics.
