Blurring genre boundaries with stream-of-consciousness spontaneity, vocalist Carol Genetti and string player Peter Maunu shape a richly textured, improvised duo of deconstructed voice, electronics and processed strings, as violin, guitar and mandolin intertwine with haunting vocal abstractions in cinematic, quick-shifting explorations that move from delicate sound studies to deranged noise gestures.
