A live recording in 2020 at AXART in Los Angeles of Eliane Radigue's first acoustic composition, investigating the physical properties of resonating bodies and dynamic systems, composed in 2005 in collaboration with West Coast cellist Charles Curtis, who also performed on the original 2006 recording at Rglise de Notre-Dame de Bon Secours in Paris that is included in this 2-CD set.

Translating her concepts from the electronic realm into acoustic, composer Eliane Radigue used an oral compositional process with the Montreal string quartet Quatuor Bozzini, for whom this work is dedicated, allowing each performance a uniqueness through sustained tones, microbeats and emerging harmonies, creating a profoundly meditative and rich work.

The first release of electronic composer Éliane Radigue's 1980 live session for the Bay Area's KPFA radio, performing two works: a studio performance of "Chry-ptus", Radigue's work for asynchronous recordings on a Buchla Modular System; and the world premiere of Parts I through III of "Tryptych", an hallucinogenic work of sound and texture.

The last chapter in Alga Marghen's archival series of Éliane Radigue's Feedback Works, unreleased tape and feedback compositions of rich hypnotic electronics, noise and drone: "In Memoriam-Ostinato" from 1969 recorded at the Centre Artistique de Verderonne in France; and "Danse Des Dakinis (Pour Marion)" from 1998 recorded at Mills College in Oakland.

Eliane Radigue received a grant from the French Government to compose these works, realized between 1981 and 1983 in her Paris analog studio on Arp synthesizer, with vocal submission from Robert Ashley and Tibetan teacher Lama Kunga Rinpoche, composing five songs in tribute to the Tibetan saint and poet from the eleventh century, Jetsun Milarepa.

French electroacoustic composer and innovator Eliane Radigue's final work made with feedback material from 1970, five pieces that strip away at the familiar, deconstructing and decomposing classical works into mesmerizing drones, or creating rich pulsating works of sound with intense harmonic development and controlled feedback, a powerful opus of sound.
