Recorded live at the 2025 Konfrontationen #45 in Nickelsdorf, this quintet of viola, cello, alto saxophone, piano, and percussion unites frequent Creative Sources players Ernesto Rodrigues, Guilherme Rodrigues, and Nuno Torres with legendary free jazz pianist Alexander von Schlippenbach and drummer Willi Kellers, in a dynamic convergence of textural string abstraction and energetic free jazz interplay.

Recording at Kuhlspot Social Club in Berlin, the quartet of Erhard Hirt (e-guitar & electronics), Richard Scott (live electronics), Klaus Kurvers (double bass), and Willi Kellers (drums & percussion) perform assertive and exploratory electroacoustic improvisations, taking listeners on 7 journeys that flow through dense forests, deep into watery worlds or traverse unearthly trails.

Part of the 2022 trio tour of violinist Ernesto Rodrigues, cellist Guilherme Rodrigues and saxophonist Nuno Torres is this studio recording in Berlin with free jazz legendary pianist Alexander von Schlippenbach and drummer/percussionist Willi Kellers, each of the 9 improvisations named for mythical beasts, appropriate to the fearsome force of these five masterful players.

Though listing four tracks, this is an indexed continuous concert from the German Grid Mesh quartet of Christof Thewes on trombone, Frank Paul Schubert on alto & soprano saxophones, Andreas Willers on electric guitar and Willi Kellers on drums & percussion, performing at Spielraum Schiffweiler-Heiligenwald in Germany in 2020 for a wildly buidling concert of free collective force.

Two thirds of the free jazz group "Boom Box"--saxophonist Thomas Borgmann and drummer Willi Kellers--and referencing that band's 2011 album titled Jazz, Keys & Screws is rounded out as a trio with double bassist Jan Roder, following the format of "Jazz" with compositions from each player following head/solo format, fueled by each player's extensive experience.
