Swedish clarinetist Christer Bothén joins Quagmire — Nina de Heney on double bass, Karin Johansson on prepared piano, piano and zither, and Henrik Wartel on drums — in a darkly textured free improv session of sculptural interplay, where deep clarinet lines, rumbling bass, metallic percussion and fragmented piano gestures form a shifting landscape of fragile intensity and balanced collective sound.

The Swedish trio of South Korean tenor saxophonist Jung-Jae Kim, Joel Haag on guitar and Henrik Wartel on drums, recording in the studio for a mix of five original compositions from Jung-Jae Kim, often based around a motive or idea which is developed and expanded upon by each member of the trio, and five collective improvisation borrowing from a variety of styles.

Turning the piano trio concept onto its sonic side, the Swedish trio of Nina de Heney on double bass, Karin Johansson on piano, and Henrik Wartel on drums owe more to AMM than jazz tradition, as they use extended techniques and a sound-oriented approach to improvisation, presenting three live recordings at Elementstudion, in Gothenburg, Sweden.
