An exceptional quartet of electroacoustic improvisers captured in concert at MUG Einstein Kultur in Munich, organized by the non-profit Offene Haken e.V. - Freunde der improvisierten Musik (Friends of improvised music), from Markus Eichenberger on clarinet, Carl Ludwig Hubsch on tuba, Philip Zoubek on synthesizer and Etienne Nillesen on extended snare drum.

With "fragments of alien melodies, bizarre call-and-response activities, boiling liquids, airy perturbations, clusters", the electroacoustic improvising quartet of Markus Eichenberger on clarinet, Carl Ludwig Hubsch on tuba, Etienne Nillesen on extended snare drum and Philip Zoubek on synthesizer, focus their listeners on their remarkably turbulent and rich interactions.

Ensemble leader and tuba player Carl Ludwig Hubsch created this musical concept inspired by the guitar player Keith Rowe, exploring one static sound in the ensemble, maintaining it and in the same time interacting with utmost care and openness for any necessary change, in a 22-piece ensemble of exceptional players.
