The Far East Side Band blends Asian and Western musical traditions in a quartet featuring Jason Kao Hwang on electric violin with Yukio Tsuji on shakuhachi and percussion, Sang-Won Park on Korean zithers, and Joe Daley on tuba and electronics, performing extended compositions that weave structured improvisation, delicate string dialogues, breathy flute lines, and deep brass tones into richly textured cross-cultural soundscapes.
