The Berlin-based electroacoustic Red List Ensemble founded by cellist Guilherme Rodrigues in a studio recording of the 3-part "Scope", improvised music created in real time using extensive techniques to create and raise tension in a game of contrasts, exploring orchestration in micro-groups through organization of surfaces that are opposed in terms of timbre and sound texture.

Since 1999 the Norwegian Motif band has surprised listeners with their energetic, intelligent approach to experimental jazz, bridging free, structured, and collective approaches to improvised music, here as a sextet of trumpet/sax/clarinet/piano/bass/drums.

The duo of Berlin clarinetists Kai Fagaschinski and Michael Thieke (The Magic I.D.) create rich, evolving soundscapes using tones and odd interjections in unison and in dissonance, dark works of subtle beauty in unique sound oriented compositions.
