The Earshots duo of Daniel Kordik on modular synthesizer and Edward Lucas on trombone reprise their meeting a year earlier with free improvising percussionist and AMM legend Eddie Prévost, drawn by the natural resonance of the All Saints Church in Essex, England, recording these electroacoustic improvisations of astonishing sonic properties and astounding technique.

The acoustic quality of the space was in part something that drew us to play and record at All Saints Church. The main reason for being here was to return after recording with Eddie the previous year for his solo LP Matching Mix (all tracks but one on that LP were captured in this 12th century building); and to continue the project we had set ourselves - but had run out of time - during our first visit. Back then we discussed the possibilities of a mutual release, hence this Matchless-Earshot collaboration, which underpins a long standing fellowship that we are privileged to be a part of.
The recordings on this CD originate from a longer session from which some earlier pieces have been omitted. The running order remains as played."-from the liner notes
"Daniel Kordik (analogue synthesisers: Vostok + Roland MC202) and Edward Lucas (trombone) are two London based improvisors who play together as a regular duo. They have developed a musical rapport that concentrates at times on the common unconventional ground found between the two instruments, and at other times on their histories in jazz and electronic music."-Earshots
