Bonne Humeur Provisoire: Marek [VINYL] (BeCoq)

A very odd album of experimental rock and mutilated folk forms that they refer to as "A sort of traditional music from a later country in a less faraway time", from French percussionist Bertrand Fraysse with vocalist Miha, using repetition and simple forms that build to strangely dense electronic environments, with a clear DIY and peculiar attitude; great fun!

Bertrand Fraysse : "I'm working at lieu-commun, in Toulouse, France. It's a contemporary art space in which I have a recording studio, and artistic residency, where I got all my instruments and invite people to record their and/or our music.

I play music for around 10 years, fascinated by a wide range of sounds and musics. I'm percussionist in a two saxophone / one drum band called PIAK. A trance duo called nibul (bandcamp) A crazy trio with DJ Urine and Yann is the Bastard called Duck Hunters playing concerts mainly in Toulouse and around. (France)

I'm curating an ever growing compilation of music from everywhere too."
