"The recording of this legendary concert has been remastered for vinyl edition and augmented with 27 minutes of previously unreleased material. Daniel Carter, William Parker, and Federico Ughi have been playing together since 2005, the year in which they recorded their first album The Dream. The band has performed regularly in the US and Europe ever since, gaining considerable success, with a 2010 European tour throughout Portugal, Spain, and Italy that resulted in the live album Navajo Sunrise (2012). In 2015 the trio started to rehearse with multi-instrumentalist Watson Jennison (Toronto, CA). As a quartet, the band toured the US and Canada in 2015 for concerts in Erie PA, Pittsburgh PA, Detroit MI, Toronto, and Rochester NY.

Daniel Carter, William Parker and Federico Ughi have been playing together since 2005, the year in which they recorded their first album The Dream. The band has performed regularly in the US and Europe ever since, gaining great success, with a 2010 European tour throughout Portugal, Spain and Italy that resulted in the live album Navajo Sunrise (2012). In 2015 the trio started to rehearse with multi instrumentalist Watson Jennison (Toronto, CA). As a quartet, the band toured the US and Canada in 2015 for concerts in Erie PA, Pittsburgh PA, Detroit MI, Toronto and Rochester NY. These recordings document the highlights of some of the legendary concerts that came out of this tour with a 3-disc album that comprises the shows from Erie, Toronto and Rochester.

This is cosmic music at its best, showcasing the ability of one of the most successful bands in today's New York avant-garde scene to perform in a wide array of venues with an incredible range of dynamics that go from super quiet to bombastic-fire.

"Daniel Carter (born December 28, 1945, in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania) is an American experimental saxophone, flute, clarinet, and trumpet player active mainly in New York City since the early 1970s.

Carter is a prolific performer and has recorded or performed with William Parker, Federico Ughi, DJ Logic, Thurston Moore, Yo La Tengo, Sun Ra, Cecil Taylor, Sonic Youth, scientist/musician Matthew Putman, Cooper-Moore, Sam Rivers, David S. Ware, Yoko Ono, Living Colour, Medensky Martin and Wood and Jaco Pastorius among others. He is a member of the cooperative free jazz groups TEST and Other Dimensions In Music."

"Watson Jennison was born in West Virginia and after spending time in New York City and Stockholm,Sweden, now makes his home in Toronto,Canada. Although he studied Visual Arts in college and continues to paint and exhibit his work, music has always been a very important part of his life. He has been involved in the improvisational jazz community in Toronto for the past 25 years, collaborating with and performing along side numerous musicians. He plays the soprano sax, drums, piano, recorder, and other instruments as well. In addition to playing in Toronto, Watson has performed in other cities in Ontario as well as in New York City."

"William Parker is a bassist, improviser, composer, writer, and educator from New York City, heralded by The Village Voice as, "the most consistently brilliant free jazz bassist of all time."

In addition to recording over 150 albums, he has published six books and taught and mentored hundreds of young musicians and artists.

Parker's current bands include the Little Huey Creative Music Orchestra, In Order to Survive, Raining on the Moon, Stan's Hat Flapping in the Wind, and the Cosmic Mountain Quartet with Hamid Drake, Kidd Jordan, and Cooper-Moore. Throughout his career he has performed with Cecil Taylor, Don Cherry, Milford Graves, and David S. Ware, among others."

"Federico Ughi is a drummer and composer based in New York. Federico Ughi's music infuses the New York avant-garde sound with a sense of melody inspired by the Italian classical and folk traditions of his childhood in Rome. Ornette Coleman has been a major influence for Federico as well as a mentor.

Born in Rome, Italy Federico relocated to London at age 21 to play music, from there moving to New York in 2000 again to play music. He has been based in Brooklyn, NY ever since.

He has performed or recorded with Daniel Carter, William Parker, The Cinematic Orchestra, Blue Foundation among others. Federico Ughi has performed throughout Italy, the UK, France, Holland, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Slovenia, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, Georgia, Russia, Lithuania, China, Mexico, Canada and the US."
