Descriptions, Reviews, &c.
"Ken Montgomery (aka Gen Ken Montgomery) (b. 1957) is a New York-based sound artist raised in Churchville, Pennsylvania, where he studied violin in his late childhood and early teens. Since 1994, he has used the "Gen Ken" moniker for sound art / noise music"-Wikipedia
AMK (Anthony Michael King) is a sound artist, who became known for his "montages" - handmade collages of vinyl records pieces assembled into the new one. The first one was released in the so-called "anti-records" series by RRRecords. His work is based on real-time improvisation, but uses as source of manipulation not only musical fragments and speech but also all that noise and crackles which usually comes with old, broken and outdated gear. AMK also runs his own; label Banned Production.
